After serving over 16 years in the poultry business, J. B. “Boots” Hill followed a dream to establish his own business. J. B. “Boots” Hill Real Estate and Construction was founded in 1969. J. B. “Boots” Hill started the business in the Fuller Building, which is presently the Cullman County Chamber of Commerce, and has been at its present location on 4th Avenue SE since 1975. Mr. Hill was referred to as “Boots” by all who knew him and was a man of honesty and integrity. He built this company on these values. His company quickly became a leader in the industry through his dedication and commitment to customer satisfaction. In 1985, Hill joined the Coldwell Banker franchise to improve the level of service to his customers and his agents. This family owned business has successfully adapted to the ever changing world of real estate and still practices the hard-working values it was founded on.
“Boots” was a highly respected businessman and pillar of the community until his death in 2004. At that time, his youngest son, Jeff Hill, took over the business and adopted the present name Coldwell Banker Hill Real Estate. Jeff had worked alongside his father in the real estate and construction business since his graduation from Auburn University in 1994. Coldwell Banker Hill Real Estate has furthered its success as one of the top agencies in the South in the Coldwell Banker franchise system and has won numerous awards under Jeff’s leadership.
